WATCH: Cowboys WR Lamb torches defender for wide-open TD snag

In Week 3, Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb turned a frustrating drop into a huge night, including a one-handed touchdown grab for the win. Concerns around taking over the No. 1 spot for the receiver room were halted, and now he’s adding to it against the Commanders.

After Washington cut the lead to five, quarterback Cooper Rush went to his best man on the ensuing drive. Thanks to a pass interference penalty, the Dallas offense got into opposing territory with ease. On the first play of the fourth quarter, Lamb ran a double move that left the Commanders lost and Rush found him for a wide open touchdown to extend the lead.

Lamb is commanding the day with 97 yards after the touchdown grab. With wide receiver Michael Gallup back in the fold, the passing game is looking its strongest so far in 2022. The rise of Lamb has been a heavy factor in that as the Cowboys extend their lead to 12.
