As usually seems to be the case in recent years, every time an opposing franchise with a star of note has anything resembling negative press, analysts and fans of the Boston Celtics alike start scheming on how to get said star onto the Celtics.

Such is the case with Minnesota Timberwolves star big man Karl-Anthony Towns after the firing of Timberwolves President of Basketball Operations Gersson Rosas, but with a talent as noteworthy as Towns, at least it makes sense to speculate a little. Still, not everyone is convinced — us included — that the Minnesota center would be worth pushing Jaylen Brown’s deal into the package, even if a call ought to be made.

Watch the video embedded below put together by our friends at CLNS Media’s “Celtics Beat” podcast, where hosts Adam Kaufman and Evan Valenti debate on Towns’ fit in Boston and whether Brown would be worth including with Heavy.com’s Sean Deveney.
