WATCH: Connor Essegian’s freshman highlights from a fantastic debut season

It was a tremendous freshman campaign for Badger guard Connor Essegian, who surpassed expectations to become one of the best young players in the Big Ten conference.

The Indiana native averaged 11.7 points per game, earned himself a starting role during the second half of the season, and finished the year with All-Freshman Team honors in the Big Ten. The sharpshooter also broke the record for 3-point field goals made by a freshman with 69.
