WATCH: Chiefs WR Mecole Hardman’s incredible toe-dragging touchdown grab

The Kansas City Chiefs are back on top of the New Orleans Saints after a little Mahomes Magic in the third quarter.

After an eight-play 71-yard drive to get the Chiefs into the red zone, Mahomes took a snap on 2nd-and-goal and the play looked broken initially. Mahomes heaves the ball toward the back corner of the end zone with three Saints defenders closing on him. It looked like a throwaway pass, but it ended up being a touchdown.

Lined up at the bottom of the screen, Mecole Hardman came all the way across the formation on the snap. He catches a toe-dragging touchdown in the back corner of the end zone. Check it out:

Hardman had a tough going earlier in this game, with Chauncey Gardner-Johnson knocking away a big completion. He also got lit up by another Saints safety on a throw from Mahomes in the second quarter. Shortly after that play, Hardman was seen jawing with offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy on the sideline.

This moment was a bit of redemption for him during this highly-contested game. The Chiefs lead 21-15 after this score and it could give them the life they need to close this one out.
