WATCH: Chiefs’ Tyreek Hill, Mecole Hardman raced at training camp

Kansas City Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill continues his quest to prove that he’s the fastest man in the NFL.

Earlier this offseason, Hill faced off against NFL legends Terrell Owens and Chad Johnson in the 100-meter and 40-yard dash. Now Hill has challenged one of his own teammates to a footrace at training camp.

Hill and second-year WR Mecole Hardman finally had a chance to race each other. They’ve only been talking about it since Hardman’s rookie season in Kansas City. It appears Chiefs Kingdom finally has the answer on which player is the fastest on the team.

There was some debate as to who won the race.

As both players said the other had won.

In the end, it appears that Hill did in fact win the race. He posted a video to his Instagram with the following caption:

“I really had fun today racing my brother in the 50m @mecolehardman4, we pride ourselves everyday to prove who the fastest guy in our room. Madden I need that 100 speed please.”

He posted the same video with the following caption on Twitter:

“Everyday we find ways to better ourselves , really enjoyed the competition level and the way we push each other it’s all love but #cheetahspeed✌🏿cheetah vs mecole 😈”

Mecole responded in the comment section on Instagram saying that he nearly pulled his hamstring trying to keep up with Hill. Thankfully, no one was injured and Chiefs fans now know who is the fastest player in Kansas City. Well, at least this week. Hill seems to believe that this fun moment between teammates will only push them both to get better.

The next question that needs answering. Who will Hill get a chance to race and prove himself against next?
