How to watch the Charlotte Hornets make the No. 2 pick in the 2023 NBA Draft

It’s almost time for the Charlotte Hornets to make their pick in the 2023 NBA Draft. And while there’s still uncertainty about who they should draft at No. 2 (or, if you ask Charlotte Observer sports columnist Scott Fowler, trade for), the TV details are set in stone.

Multiple broadcasts will air both rounds of the draft this year. And there are also streaming options for those who don’t have cable or satellite.

Here’s what to know about how to watch the 2023 NBA Draft:

When is NBA Draft 2023?

The NBA Draft is set to begin at 8 p.m. Thursday at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

What channel is the NBA Draft on?

The first round of the NBA Draft will air on ABC, hosted by “SportsCenter” anchor Kevin Negandhi and analyst Stephen A. Smith.

ABC’s broadcast will also include “an exclusive, sit-down interview” with presumptive No. 1 pick Victor Wembanyama, per an ESPN press release.

The full draft will air on ESPN, hosted by “NBA Today” anchor Malika Andrews. ESPN’s broadcast will also feature “college basketball analyst Jay Bilas, NBA analyst JJ Redick, reporters Andraya Carter and Monica McNutt, senior NBA Insider Adrian Wojnarowski and Front Office Insider Bobby Marks,” the network stated.

A “red carpet pre-event show” will begin at 5 p.m. on ESPN.

How to stream the NBA Draft

ABC and ESPN are available on multiple television streaming services, including Hulu + Live TV, Sling and YouTube TV.

“All NBA Draft broadcasts are also available to stream via the ESPN App,” the network said in a statement.
