Longtime Boston Celtics broadcaster Mike Gorman got the ovation he deserves Sunday night in front of a packed TD Garden crowd.

Gorman recently received the 2021 Curt Gowdy Award and will be inducted into the media wing of the Basketball Hall of Fame as part of the 2021 class. With TD Garden at full capacity for Game 4 vs. the Brooklyn Nets, the Celtics congratulated Gorman with a video tribute.

Gorman, 75, has been the Celtics' play-by-play voice since 1981. He was one half of the legendary television duo alongside Tommy Heinsohn, who passed away in November, for 39 seasons.
