The Washington Capitals continue their four-game road trip Wednesday night in Los Angeles as they take on the Kings at the Staples Center.

After an impressive 5-2 win over the San Jose Sharks, the Capitals are now 4-0-1 in their last five games. The Capitals' latest win streak has them tied with the Boston Bruins for the most points in the NHL.

The Kings, on the other hand, have struggled to an 11-15-2 record that puts them at the bottom of the Western Conference standings with 24 points.

With the Kings coming off a rest day and the Caps playing in the second half of a back-to-back on the road, don't expect this to be an easy one for Washington.

CAPITALS at KINGS PLAYERS TO WATCH

John Carlson, D, Capitals (9/31/40): Carlson is having an epic season offensively, leading the high-flying Capitals offense and all NHL defenders in points. Carlson continued his rampage with a goal and two assists in the win over the Sharks.

Alex Ovechkin, LW, Capitals (20/11/31): A hat trick against the Detroit Red Wings gives Ovi five goals in his last four games and 20 on the season. Ovechkin currently ranks second in the NHL in goals, so look for him to make a statement on offense.

Anze Kopitar, C, Kings (10/17/27): Kopitar has been one of the bright spots for a struggling Kings team. The center leads the team in goals, points and assists.
