WATCH: Bryce Young has emotional video call with former teammates

Former Alabama quarterback Bryce Young was the first player selected in the 2023 NFL draft and will begin his professional career with the Carolina Panthers.

After Young got the call and met Commissioner Roger Goodell on stage, he hopped on a video call with a few of his former Alabama teammates. They were excited for the 2021 Heisman winner and thanked him for being their quarterback, leader and friend.

Young reciprocated the love and thanked them.

Following Young, two other Crimson Tide stars were selected in the first round (outside linebacker Will Anderson Jr. and running back Jahmyr Gibbs).

Roll Tide Wire will continue to follow Bryce Young as he begins his NFL journey with the Carolina Panthers.
