WATCH: Should the Boston Celtics call the Indiana Pacers about potential trades?

Recent reporting from The Athletic’s Shams Charania relates that the 13th place Indiana Pacers are considering embarking on a retooling of their roster after another slow start to an NBA season with an 11 – 16 record in 2021-22 so far.

With a number of potentially intriguing players in the mix to be dealt for the right package of draft assets and players, the Boston Celtics might want to get on the phone to see if the Pacers and Boston can do some business. Starter-level or better players such as Caris LeVert, Myles Turner, and Domantas Sabonis could be pried free, and a number of rotation players Boston could consolidate talent with might also be up for a deal.

Does it make sense to target one or more of these Pacers players to try and improve the Celtics? The hosts of the CLNS Media podcast “The Garden Report” broach the topic in a recent podcast, and might have some conflicting perspectives on what Boston should do.

Watch the clip embedded above to get their views on whether team president Brad Stevens ought to be on the phone with the Pacers.
