Watch: Anthony Brown hits Dont’e Thornton for 66-yard score

·1 min read

While it has not been a pretty game for the Oregon Ducks, Anthony Brown made sure to give the fans at least one highlight to consume over the impending offseason.

Brown wowed the crowd with a dime to Dont’e Thornton down the sideline, and Thornton scampered down the sideline for a touchdown midway through the third quarter.

It was the second career touchdown for the freshman Thornton, who had 85 total receiving yards this season coming into tonight’s game.

Despite the ugly performance against Oklahoma so far, the experience young players like Thornton are gaining will help this team as they head into next season when they are led by new coach Dan Lanning.

Perhaps the next development will be freshman quarterback Ty Thompson, who has yet to enter the game despite a lopsided score and the impending competition between Thompson and Bo Nix to be the starter under center next year.
