Watch: Allen Robinson makes impressive one-handed catch during training camp

Allen Robinson has continuously drawn a ton of buzz this offseason since signing with the Los Angeles Rams and he showed why on Wednesday. During Wednesday’s practice session, Robinson made a spectacular one-handed catch over Derion Kendrick.

The Rams were likely working on red-zone drills, with the quarterbacks improving their timing with the wide receivers. While Matthew Stafford wasn’t throwing on Wednesday, John Wolford got a chance to throw passes to Robinson.

Wolford delivered a decent pass that went over Kendrick’s head, who was in a solid position to make the play, but Robinson stuck his left hand out in hopes of securing the reception. Aside from preventing his feet from drifting out of bounds, Robinson was able to contort his body to put him in a position to finish the catch.

Coaches and executives of the Rams have shared their excitement about Robinson’s addition to the offense, especially his ability to make contested catches and be a threat in the red zone. Even though Robinson struggled with the Chicago Bears a season ago, the hype train continues to grow ahead of the 2022 season, and it won’t get any smaller after people see the catch he made on Wednesday.
