How to watch Alabama-South Carolina basketball game

No. 2 Alabama (23-4,  13-1 SEC) will travel to Columbia Wednesday night to take on South Carolina (10-17, 3-11 SEC) inside Colonial Life Arena.

This is the lone matchup of the regular season for the Crimson Tide and the Gamecocks.

Alabama took care of South Carolina in last season’s matchup 90-71 and currently owns a seven-game winning streak against the Gamecocks.

With Texas A&M nipping at their heels, Alabama must take care of South Carolina on Wednesday if they want to hold on to their lead in the SEC standings.

Below is the game day and broadcast information for the SEC matchup between Alabama and South Carolina.

Alabama player to watch: Noah Clowney

Marvin Gentry-USA TODAY Sports

This is more of a hunch than a prediction. Noah Clowney is due a “splash” game and with a lot of the attention on Brandon Miller and Mark Sears, Clowney could be the beneficiary.

South Carolina player to watch: Gregory Jackson

Jeff Blake-USA TODAY Sports

Gregory Jackson, better known as G.G. is a uber-talented basketball player. The true freshman is averaging 15.3 points and 6.1 rebounds per game. The projected first-round pick is sure to be a handful for the Tide.

Series history

Alabama owns a 33-16 advantage in the all-time series against South Carolina and is 9-1 in the previous 10 matchups with the Gamecocks.

Score prediction

Julie Bennett-USA TODAY Sports

Alabama 82, South Carolina 64

There is no sense in overthinking this one. Alabama is arguably the best team in the country and South Carolina has struggled all season long. Alabama should take care of the Gamecocks with ease on Wednesday night.
