How to watch 2022 PFL 2: Who’s fighting, lineup, start time, broadcast info

The PFL regular reason rolls on this week with 2022 PFL 2, which features featherweights and heavyweights in action for the first time this year.

Here’s how to watch PFL 2, with a complete lineup and breakdown by division.

Broadcast and streaming info

PFL 2 takes place Thursday at Esports Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

The prelims stream on ESPN+ at 6 p.m. ET, with the main card also streaming on ESPN+ and airing on ESPN 2 at 9 p.m. ET.

Featherweights

All 10 featherweights will be in action at PFL 2, but reigning champion Movlid Khaybulaev won’t be among them because of injury, meaning a new champion will be crowned in 2022. Could this be the year Brendan Loughnane or Chris Wade gets the job done after both men lost to Khaybulaev in the playoffs last year? Wade has a tough out in his first bout of 2022 against former two-time PFL champion Lance Palmer, who is looking to rebound from a down 2021. Meanwhile, Loughnane opens up with Japanese standout Ryoji Kudo, who is making his promotional debut.

Heavyweights

Bruno Cappelozza after winning his heavyweight championship bout during the PFL championships at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino on October 27, 2021 in Hollywood, Florida. (Cooper Neill, PFL)

All 10 heavyweights will be in action at PFL 2, including reigning champion Bruno Cappelozza. The Brazilian title holder went 4-0 last season with three knockouts before winning a wild unanimous decision in a finals rematch against Ante Delija to claim the $1 million prize. Cappelozza’s defense of his title begins with a headliner against Stuart Austin, who fought just once in 2021 an was knocked out in 31 seconds by Renan Ferreira. Speaking of Ferreira, he was at the center of controversy last season after his TKO win over Fabricio Werdum was overturned to a no contest, which contributed to him missing the playoffs. Ferreira meets last year’s semifinalist Jamelle Jones in his 2022 season opener.
