Kyle Kuzma arrived in Washington as part of a package from the L.A. Lakers in the Russell Westbrook trade. Kuzma, along with his L.A. teammates Montrezl Harrell and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, have been huge factors in the Wizards' rise to the upper echelon of the Eastern Conference this season.

Kuzma has gone viral on social media multiple times since he was drafted 27th overall out of Utah in the 2017 NBA Draft. Kyle Kuzma's Contract Details

Kyle Kuzma inked his current contract while he was still with the Los Angeles Lakers, in December of 2020. The deal was for three-years, $39 million, with all the money guaranteed. The contract is a very even, solid one, as Kuzma has earned $13 million for the first year of the deal and will earn another $13 million this season. He will be under contract through 2023-24 with Washington, barring a trade.

Since arriving in the nation's capital following the Westbrook trade, Kuzma has impressed coaches and fans during his time as a Wizard.
