Washington Football Team vs. Denver Broncos Week 8 inactives originally appeared on NBC Sports Washington

The Washington Football Team will be without multiple starters for its Week 8 contest against the Denver Broncos, including both its first- and second-string right tackle.

Sam Cosmi (ankle) is set to miss his third straight game for Washington with an ankle injury. The 2021 second-round pick did not participate in practice all week. Cosmi's backup, Cornelius Lucas, was a late addition to the injury report on Friday with an illness and did not travel to Denver for Sunday's game. Second-year veteran Saahdiq Charles is set to make his first career start at right tackle.

Next to Charles on the right side of the offensive line will be Wes Schweitzer, who has started the last three weeks in place of All-Pro guard Brandon Scherff. Scherff has missed the past three weeks with a sprained MCL that he suffered in Week 4.

Elsewhere on the offensive side of the football, wide receivers Curtis Samuel (groin) and Dyami Brown (knee) are both inactive. Samuel has missed all but two games for Washington this season and has played just 30 offensive snaps for the club this season after signing a three-year deal this offseason. Brown has been dealing with a knee injury for a few weeks but reinjured himself last week against Green Bay.

Washington will additionally be without cornerback William Jackson III for a second consecutive week with a knee injury. Jackson was a limited participant in practice all week and entered Sunday with the questionable injury designation.

For Denver, the Broncos will get back second-year wide receiver Jerry Jeudy after he was activated from Injured Reserve. Jeudy suffered an ankle injury in the Broncos' Week 1 win over the Giants and has been sidelined since.

The Broncos will also be without star pass rusher Von Miller this Sunday against Washington, who is out with an ankle injury. Miller did not practice all week after initially injuring his ankle against the Browns last Thursday night.
