Going into this Saturday's contest in Pullman, WA, a bowl game is at stake.

Oregon State (5-5, 4-3 Pac-12) and Washington State (5-5, 2-5 Pac-12) are both a win away from going bowling. After a 49-22 win against Stanford, Cougars running back Max Borghi felt confident his team was going to get that sixth win this week.

A win feels great and now carry it into next week and have a great week of practice preparing for Oregon State cause we're going bowling and you can guarantee that cause we're winning next week.

When Oregon State players have been asked about Borghi's comments this week, everyone has given a similar answer of them having heard it but they're just focusing on preparation ahead of the contest.

Senior Keegan Firth later stated his team will "let the pads talk."

On this week's Talkin' Beavers podcast, senior tight end Noah Togiah responded to the guarantee:

We're just going to come in and do our job. We're just going to prepare the right way and hopefully prove him wrong...We're going to do what we have to do to win the game, and after the game, hopefully I can walk up to him and say something.
