Washington Commanders 2022 undrafted free agent tracker
The 2022 NFL draft is in the books, and now the race is on to sign some of the top undrafted free agents. Actually, the race begins long before the end of the draft.
The Washington Commanders wrapped up an eight-member draft class after selecting Oklahoma State cornerback Christian Holmes at No. 260 overall. Washington addressed multiple areas but did not select a linebacker. The Commanders added a wide receiver, defensive tackle, running back, safety, quarterback, tight end, guard and cornerback.

Louisiana LB Ferrod Gardner
The Commanders are signing Louisiana LB Ferrod Gardner as a free agent, per source. He finished second in tackles for the Rajun Cajuns last season where he was a teammate with 4th round pick Percy Butler.

Gardner is a linebacker, not a fullback.
