The Washington Football Team is signing quarterback Garrett Gilbert to the active roster after starting quarterback Taylor Heinicke, was just added to the Reserve/COVID-19 list.

Heinicke is now player No. 22 on the list.

As of now, the NFL has taken no steps to postpone or reschedule the contest.

With Heinicke now out, Washington will have Gilbert, Kyle Shurmur, and Jordan Ta’amu listed as signal-callers for Sunday’s matchup.
