Game 1 vs the Spurs went very well for the Warriors.
They never trailed, led by as many as 28 points and played terrific defense.
Were they trying to send a message?
"I wouldn't say it was an attitude. It was just moreso we didn't like the way we played coming down the stretch of the season," Kevin Durant told reporters after practice on Sunday. "Draymond said it before practice -- 'losing sucks' -- and we had a taste of that, especially when guys were out.
"Guys came back and we still lost some games -- big losses. And it's just losing sucks, especially when you've tasted winning already. You don't want to go backwards.
"We just wanted to win, we wanted to play well, we wanted to play hard -- when we play hard, the rest of the game takes dictates itself."
Speaking of Draymond -- he got off a slow start offensively, but made two 3-pointers in the second half and racked up nine of his game-high 11 assists after the break.
He also had a certain "attitude" during his postgame press conference.
"A lot of people have tend to forgot what we're capable of. We know, and we're gonna show it."
Can it just be 7:30 tonight already?
