Ward-Prowse or Phillips to replace suspended Alvarez?

Michael Brown

BBC Sport pundit Michael Brown has been answering your questions on all things Premier League.

Henry asked: Edson Alvarez has been a key player in midfield for us this season, alongside Soucek, but he misses our next three games because of suspension [for yellow card accumulation]. Who would you play instead of him for the games he misses; James Ward-Prowse or Kalvin Phillips?

Michael replied: David Moyes needs to try and find a way of fitting both of those into the team.

Phillips will get going but he needs games and he needs to relax. He has been dealt the blow of not being in the England squad and that was a concern of mine when he made the move.

Moyes can move things around, but there seems to be a lot of uncertainty at West Ham because of the managerial situation that is still lingering on.

I would not want to play either - I would want to play both.
