Wales 26-27 Scotland: Key stats

Of the last eight Six Nations campaign, Scotland have won six of their opening games - the last four back to back.

Against Wales, in the first half Scotland came out the blocks swinging with more attacking threats but the tables turned in the second half as the fire started within the hosts, as seen in the lack of Scotland attacking threat for a long spell in the second half.

While expected points were similar in the first half, Wales' performance in the second period saw them end the game with a much higher expected points figure than eventual winners Scotland.

Despite only ending with 26 points, Wales' expected points were 32.4, compared to Scotland's 20.7 figure - less than the visitors' actual score of 27.
