Jonathan Drouin’s ownership in Yahoo leagues ballooned from 25% a week ago to 40%.  Justin Schultz’s went from 22% to 34%, while Zack Kassian jumped from 17% to 28%.  Ilya Samsonov, who also appeared on Waiver Wired last week, went from a 12% ownership to 32%.  Marcus Johansson is still available in 89% of Yahoo leagues, while Josh Bailey is still owned in just 20% of Yahoo leagues.

Paul Stastny (VGK) - C - Owned in 35% of Yahoo leagues

Stastny has produced four goals and three assists in the past five games.  He is back centering the second line of the Golden Knights after Cody Glass occupied that spot for the start of the season.  Stastny had a productive year in 2018-19 with Vegas, with 42 points in 50 games.  Playing with Mark Stone and Max Pacioretty gives him plenty of fantasy value and he should be owned in more leagues.  He is already rewarding the poolies who stuck with Stastny through his slow start and this could be the last chance others have to jump on the bandwagon.

Mikko Koskinen (EDM) - Owned in 35% of Yahoo leagues

Koskinen and Mike Smith have been splitting starts for the Oilers this season.  They have both performed well, but Koskinen has the better numbers of the two while facing more shots.  He has posted a 4-0-0 record with a 2.21 goals-against average and .934 save percentage.  Edmonton’s early-season success has come as a surprise, but it’s worth taking advantage now whether it lasts or not.

Jaden Schwartz (STL) - LW - Owned in 28% of Yahoo leagues

Schwartz potted his first goal in eight games on Saturday, but stretched his point streak to four straight matches.  He has generated six points so far this campaign in what is shaping up to a bounce-back year.  Schwartz slipped to 36 points in 69 contests last season, but regained some confidence in the playoffs when he racked up 12 goals and 20 points in 26 games.  He is playing alongside Brayden Schenn and Vladimir Tarasenko in 2019-20.

Nick Schmaltz (ARI) - C, LW - Owned in 26% of Yahoo leagues

Schmaltz was a popular breakout candidate going into the year and he is starting to show why pundits were so high on him.  He has three goals and five helpers during a five-game point streak.  The fact that he isn’t playing with Phil Kessel or Clayton Keller is disappointing, but he has been clicking with Christian Dvorak and Conor Garland.

Andre Burakovsky (COL) - LW, RW - Owned in 23% of Yahoo leagues

Burakovsky appeared on Waiver Wired last week when he was owned in just 7% of Yahoo leagues.  His ownership has been increasing, as he is up to four goals and four assists through seven contests, but he is still available in plenty of leagues.  Burakovsky’s fresh start with Colorado is bearing fruit in the early going and it has the potential to carry on throughout the 2019-20 season.  He has been seeing most of his playing time with Nazem Kadri and Joonas Donskoi, but he has also factored into two overtime goals while seeing shifts alongside Mikko Rantanen and Nathan MacKinnon.

Jakob Silfverberg (ANA) - RW - Owned in 19% of Yahoo leagues

Silfverberg is tied for the team lead with seven points through eight outings this season.  He has four goals and three assists, including two goals and two assists in his past two outings.  Silfverberg has been playing in all situations for the Ducks this campaign.  This could finally be the year when he breaks out offensively.  Silfverberg doesn’t have a 50-point season in his NHL career, but he is currently on pace to shatter that mark.

Adam Henrique (ANA) - C - Owned in 18% of Yahoo leagues

Henrique has heated up following a slow start to the year.  He has registered four of his five goals during a three-game point streak.  Henrique has has one assist and nine shots during that span as well.  He has been centering the top line of the Ducks between Rickard Rakell and Jakob Silfverberg.

Alexander Kerfoot (TOR) - C, LW, RW - Owned in 15% of Yahoo leagues

Kerfoot is taking on a larger role with John Tavares out of the lineup.  He has moved up to the second line and scored a goal on Saturday versus Boston.  Kerfoot spent most of the game between William Nylander and Ilya Mikheyev, but he also logged some time with Mitch Marner.  With Tavares set to miss at least two weeks, and possibly more, Kerfoot will get a chance to establish a rhythm with some talented wingers in Toronto's top-six forward group.

Devon Toews (NYI) - D - Owned in 11% of Yahoo leagues

Toews has two goals and five points following eight matches.  He had one goal and two helpers during a three-game point streak, but that came to an end on Saturday night.  Toews has also contributed two assists on what has been the most efficient power-play combination for the Islanders alongside Josh Bailey and Brock Nelson

Corey Perry (DAL) - RW - Owned in 7% of Yahoo leagues

Perry made his return to the lineup this week after missing the first seven games of the year.  It took him a couple of appearances to get back up to speed, which isn’t surprising coming off a broken foot from a freak accident in September.  Perry looked much more comfortable on Saturday when he accounted for one goal and two assists against Philadelphia.  He has been skating alongside Roope Hintz, who has been the Stars’ best player so far, and Jamie Benn.
