Kansas State took over the No. 13 spot after jumping up nine spots in the AP poll following tis blowout victory over Oklahoma State. The Cowboys fell nine spots to No. 18, falling past Penn State in the process.

No. 20 Wake Forest also fell past Penn State as they were hammered in the AP poll. Wake Forest dropped 10 spots after their loss to Louisville.

Teams moving up past Penn State this week included Kansas State, No. 11 Ole Miss, No. 12 Utah, No. 14 Illinois, and No. 15 LSU.

That sets the stage for a monster SEC game next weekend when Georgia faces Tennessee.

As for Penn State, there is still a path to ending the year with a top 15 or even a top 10 ranking if it takes care of its schedule in November. That begins next weekend against Indiana in Bloomington. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
