Vols ranked top 15 after Missouri series

Tennessee (15-6, 0-3 SEC) will host Western Carolina (6:30 p.m. EDT, SEC Network+) on Tuesday at Lindsey Nelson Stadium.

The Vols will host No. 18 Texas A&M (14-6, 1-2 SEC), Friday-Sunday, for their second Southeastern Conference series this season.

Friday’s series-opener is slated for 6:30 p.m. EDT (SEC Network+), while game No. 2 is scheduled for noon EDT (ESPN2). Sunday’s series finale between the Vols and Aggies is slated for 1 p.m. EDT (SEC Network+).

Tennessee opened SEC play losing three contests at Missouri.

The latest USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll was released Monday. Tennessee is ranked No. 12 in the latest USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll after being No. 2 for four consecutive weeks.

LSU is ranked No. 1 for the fifth consecutive week.
