This new model still contains a powerful motor and holds up to 32-ounces, but is much more compact –great for city-dwellers who are looking to maximize their counter space but don’t want to sacrifice quality.

Details About The New Smaller and Cheaper Vitamix
Thanks to the motor, this blender still promises a perfect texture on every blend, every time. The shape of the container works to pull the ingredients directly into the blades, so you can count on perfection. It also has a speed dial, which is not only fun (and it IS fun), it allows you to easily determine how blended you want your ingredients, an aspect that’s especially helpful for mixed drinks and even baby food. It also comes with a mini tamper, which makes it easy and mess-free to press thicker ingredients into the blades for a super-fast blend.

What You’ll Miss in The Affordable Vitamix
What you’re really missing out on when compared to the brand’s other pricier blenders is the touch-screen control, which is only available in the premium A2500 Ascent Series (at William Sonoma) and the pulse options found in all three of the brand’s upper-level blenders.
While most of the Vitamix blenders require you to purchase additional containers — like personal-sized, larger or smaller — the Vitamix One isn’t compatible with any of the brand’s other options. That said, if you’re not sold on paying nearly $300 more for those features, you’re still in great hands with the Vitamix One.
Even More Vitamix Deals and Blenders Under $100
If your heart is still set on the original Vitamix, consider looking into a refurbished option, which Vitamix sells on their own site so that its high-level standards are always guaranteed. Vitamix even allows you to search by series mode, container compatibility and color options. While these refurbished options are still pretty pricey, you can definitely find some great deals, even on its high-level blenders. There are even some for less than $300, and with quality guaranteed by the brand, why not go for it?
