Keshon Artis, a three-star outside linebacker from Chesapeake (Va.) Oscar Smith, says he will take an official visit to UCF the weekend of the UConn home game on Nov. 11.
In July, Artis announced a top eight that included Maryland, West Virginia, NC State, Tennessee, Missouri, Duke, Syracuse and Virginia Tech. He did state his recruitment was "still open," hence UCF sliding in to land an OV.
Other scheduled visits include Virginia Tech (Oct. 28), NC State (Nov. 4) and Maryland (Dec. 15).
Virginia has become a popular recruiting stop for UCF coaches. The Knights signed Dedrion "Bam Bam" Bacote and tight end Anthony Roberson late in the 2016 class and added quarterback Darriel Mack, Jr. in this current freshman class.
