This Viral Windex Ad Is the Most Emotional Thing You'll Watch All Day
Today we learned that Windex can make you ugly cry without even accidentally squirting the chemicals into your eye. The cleaning product's latest advertisement follows a father watching his daughter grow up, and it's surprisingly moving.
The nostalgic video begins and ends with the characters looking through hospital windows, and the story in-between reflects the touching life cycle of many father-daughter relationships. And of course, since it is an ad for Windex, it subtly incorporates glass and mirrors throughout the narrative.
"What's between us, connects us," reads the video's caption on the Windex Facebook page.
To make the whole thing even more emotional, the video is free of dialogue. It's instead accompanied by 13-year-old America's Got Talent winner Grace VanderWaal singing "Beautiful Thing," in the background.
