The Vikings had a supririsng name on the Thursday interim injury report: CB Cameron Dantzler.

Minnesota did not list the cornerback on the injury report for Wednesday. Despite that, he showed up on the list with a calf injury just a day later.

Now, Dantzler is doubtful for a pivotal Week 17 matchup against Green Bay. The Vikings waived starting cornerback Bashaud Breeland a couple weeks ago. Dantzler started in Breeland’s place, but now CB Kris Boyd will have to get more reps if Dantzler cannot start vs. the Packers.

The Vikings also listed TE Tyler Conklin, DT Michael Pierce and LB Chazz Surratt as questionable for the matchup. Conklin and Pierce, both starters, are pretty essential to the team at this point. Though the Vikings are gearing up for a frigid game against the Packers, so Conklin’s presence in the passing game might not be as necessary this week.

The Vikings also placed starting QB Kirk Cousins on the COVID-19/reserve list Friday. QB Sean Mannion was removed from the list and is expected to start Sunday.
