Vikings rise to 4 point favorites in Week 18 vs. Bears
On Monday, the Minnesota Vikings were 1.5-point favorites for the final regular season game against the Chicago Bears. Less than 24 hours later, the Vikings have risen to a four-point favorite via Draft Kings Sportsbook.
A heavy shift in the line this early in the week usually signals that something has happened, and in this case, it’s likely that the Bears will sit Justin Fields on Sunday.
On Sunday, head coach Matt Eberflus said that Fields would play, but he walked it back on Monday. Instead, he said that he and general manager Ryan Poles would sit down and talk about who would play.
Without Fields in at quarterback, the Bears immediately become a worse team because Nathan Peterman is a significant downgrade.
