Vikings move down a spot in Touchdown Wire power rankings

The 49ers are a good team, especially the last three games. If you don’t believe me, just look at how little the Vikings slipped in Touchdown Wire’s power rankings.

Minnesota fell to No. 19 overall, just a one-ranking drop from the previous week. Nick Wojton of Touchdown Wire and Bills Wire wrote:

“QB Kirk Cousins and WR Adam Thielen doubled down on scores but it wasn’t enough in a 34-26 loss to the 49ers… another one-possession defeat for Minnesota. The Niners ran all over the Vikes defense and a loss between these two .500 teams in the NFC might prove costly.”

The Vikings moved to 5-6 with the loss, while the 49ers notched their record to 6-5. Minnesota has a chance to get back to .500 yet again in Week 13 against Detroit. Minnesota is of course favored in the road matchup, but divisional games can oftentimes go back and forth.
