Still searching for a new offensive coordinator, the Minnesota Vikings will be interviewing Giants wide receivers coach Tyke Tolbert for the vacant role this week, per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.

Tolbert, who was in his third season coaching wideouts with the Giants since Pat Shurmur took over as head coach, worked under Minnesota's old OC, Gary Kubiak, during their time with the Denver Broncos. So, as Rapoport suggests, Tolbert taking over as OC would allow the Vikings to continue using the same system.

As a wide receivers coach, too, Tolbert would have a good group of Adam Theilen, Justin Jefferson and others to work with if the job was his.

Tolbert has been able to get the best out of receivers like Sterling Shepard, Darius Slayton and others on the Giants' roster. Prior to his time in New York, the Broncos' Super Bowl 50 run included a breakout from Demaryius Thomas as well.
