Your views on Sunday's game
We asked for your thoughts on Sunday's game between West Ham and Nottingham Forest.
Here are some of your comments:
West Ham fans
Ben: I'm really concerned by the amount of balls we give away. Also with the creative players we have the decision making is poor. A few times in this game we could and should have gone wide but didn't. Vladimir Coufal is great but lacks quality, Emerson too makes too many poor choices with his passes and I have to say that for all his good, Lucas Paqueta gives the ball away. Poor.
Don: Another awful performance, but three points. Sadly this is just papering over the cracks. It's time for a change, Moyesball is getting harder and harder to watch, and I think he's taken us as far as he can.
Kevin: What a relief! Being a West Ham supporter for most of my 61 years I cannot understand why we can’t go forward to try and score a second goal when on top. Instead we revert to the boring David Moyes tactics. I would rather see my team beaten by the odd goal every other week playing entertaining and direct football. It’s what the fans want.
Faith: Firstly, what an exciting match so well done both teams. I was so glad to see some passion in the boys after it looked like we had thrown the game away. Moyes changed the game bringing on big Mick and we defended resolutely at the end when Forest were pushing for the equaliser. Hopefully we've turned the corner and fight for a Euro spot now.
Forest fans
Matt: Morgan Gibbs-White is such a talent but wow he’s frustrating. Too many back heels and flicks when a simple pass will do and his dead ball delivery is poor. James Ward-Prowse showed what a proper dead ball specialist can do and we just couldn't cope with his deliveries. Another good away performance wasted by poor defending from set pieces.
Joe: Can we just lose gracefully rather than capitulate? We have zero bottle once in a losing position - at least hold on for a draw, let alone win! It’s the same merry-go-round as usual. Have a good game and crumble in the next. Bad subs again.
Adrian: Another long journey with nothing to show for it. Have to face it, still only bottom-third calibre. Cannot see Steve Cooper improving this lot after all this time.
Derek: We really do need to learn how to defend. How many matches could we have gained points in if we had been more organised defensively?
