- Franchise quarterbacks are the superheroes of the NFL. And in this year's draft, there are five first-round QB prospects. Do they have the supernatural powers needed to lead their future teams to glory? Or could their personal kryptonite prove to be an overwhelming obstacle? Yahoo Sports' NFL draft mastermind Eric Edholm reveals their capabilities.

ERIC EDHOLM: Zach Wilson's superpower is his improvisational skills. When things break down, that's when Wilson really puts on his cape. Watch any of the number of free-wheeling plays from 2020-- escaping from sacks, scrambling, slinging the ball all over the field-- and you'll know exactly what we're talking about. In fact, we think some of his best throws last year came out of passes that weren't even complete. His receiver didn't even make the catch.

His kryptonite, however, his overconfidence. [INAUDIBLE] times with his legs and sometimes it's his own worst enemy. He'll run himself into sacks and tends to make things a little bit harder than they need to be. Overconfidence aside, Wilson is bound to make play after play and leave his opponents shaking their heads in disbelief.
