TEREZ PAYLOR: So Stafford. I think we agree Colts is a good spot. Other places people have been talking about, though, they're at least kind of interesting, right? Denver. Vic Fangio entering his third year, right, see? Like, I don't know, it feels like Vic not crazy but the-- doesn't seem like a young quarterback guy to me. I don't know, like, I feel like Denver should get in the mix for that guy. You know, and obviously the Saints can use Stafford, but their cap situation is just a train wreck. I don't think they can do it. San Francisco's interesting, too, right? Like, does Stafford represent an upgrade over Garoppolo? What do you think? Are we missing anybody? How about New England, right? There's some teams out there that have got cap space, that are not the Saints, that could actually be an interesting spot for Stafford. And oh, before I forget, those are teams I want you to touch on. But also, don't let me forget while, like, I'm not crazy about Washington for him.

CHARLES ROBINSON: What about Vegas?

TEREZ PAYLOR: Mmm.

CHARLES ROBINSON: All we hear from Jon Gruden and Mike Mayock is hey, look, if, you know, they're always going to be looking to have the best quarterback they can. And if that opportunity presents itself, we're going to be looking to have the best quarterback we can. I mean, if I'm Jon Gruden, I'm sorry, but you're hot seat guy next year. You are. I don't-- you can say whatever you want, but have another season where you just don't quite get there.

TEREZ PAYLOR: Ooh. Peterson level? Are you telling us that, right? Is it Peterson level, or, like, a notch below. Remember, you called it that a year ago?

CHARLES ROBINSON: I wouldn't say-- I mean, look, here's the thing about Gruden. He went through a move, OK? So I think a move always buys you the line of defense with an owner, where you can say, hey, man, we went through a move. Now we went through a COVID season. Like, gimme a chance here to iron this out completely.

But I'm just telling you, the honeymoon, the Jon Gruden honeymoon is going to be over. Because I think what's going to happen is, next year, if it doesn't work out, you're going to hear about Jon Gruden and Mike Mayock not being a good fit. That's what you're going to-- I'm going to go ahead and say that now. If this does not work out next year, it's going to be, wait a minute. Which one of these guys? Something's not working here. And it's going to start to be the blame game behind the scenes, and you're going to hear Jon and Mike, maybe not a great fit anymore.
