The Philadelphia 76ers defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 107-106 in a potential preview of this year’s NBA Finals, 2-time WNBA MVP Candace Parker is heading home to play for the Chicago Sky, Tampa Bay Bucs WR Scotty Miller thinks he’s faster than Kansas City Chiefs RB Tyreek Hill, and Eli Manning revealed a frequent topic of conversation between he and his on-field nemesis,Tom Brady. JARED QUAY: Last night in the NBA, the best in the West took on the beast in the East. And in a possible finals preview, the Sixers were able to beat the defending champs in Philly. It was the Lakers' first road loss of the season. But now when the Lakers get back to LA, the Staples Center's going to feel a little emptier.
After 13 seasons in Los Angeles, the two-time WNBA MVP Candace Parker is headed home to play with the Chicago Sky. Damn. Yo, LA getting expensive when even CP think's the rental's too damn high.

- And if you're worried that it's too cold for her in Chicago, just remember she played five offseasons in Russia and won five championships. She might play better in the cold. But that's enough about a winner because now we have to take a couple of seconds to talk about some losers.
Former pitcher Kurt Schilling missed making baseball's Hall of Fame by only 16 votes. And he was so angry about it, he pulled his name off next year's ballot. You don't want me at 2021? Well, you can't have me 2022.
Just one problem. It's against the rules. He ain't too passionate about following election rules in general, so I ain't surprised. But you know it did surprise? Me Tom Brady.
After winning six Super Bowls, he's still upset about the two he lost to the Giants. According to Eli Manning, TB12 still brings them up, especially the 2007 loss interrupted a perfect season. Yo, that's crazy. Tom Brady worried about Eli Manning is like Tyreek Hill worried about Scotty Miller, but according to Scotty, maybe Tyreek should be.
SCOTTY MILLER: Tyreek is unbelievable, super quick, unbelievable talent. But if we're talking about a race, I mean, I got all the confidence in myself going up against anybody.
DAN PATRICK: Wait, you think you're the fastest guy in the NFL?
JARED QUAY: Yes, sir.
- I mean, maybe Scotty got wheels, but his name is Scotty. I ain't never met a fast Scotty. Most Scottys you meet, like, maybe good skateboarders. I know a Scotty that's really, really good at chess. Maybe Scotty might be talking about he's the fastest speed chess player, which I don't doubt.
