RED GERARD: I've always had my family at most of the contests that I do. And it brings a good energy always, having family there and friends and all that. But it's like we're able to go to the Olympics and compete and do what we love. So I think we've got to just-- there's going to be a couple of downsides with this pandemic and all of that. And that just happens to be one of them, unfortunately. Hopefully when we get home, we'll get some good time to spend with family and friends.

For me, I'm not going to try to expect anything. I think it's going to be kind of a whirlwind with COVID and all that. And I think I'm just going to try to go into it with a good attitude. And I think sometimes I can get a little frustrated with all the COVID ruling and all that. So I'm just going to go into it happy. And just hopefully, we'll be able to go watch some other things.

And then as far as the snowboarding aspect, I mean, we do it-- I don't know. We do so many contests each year. So I'm just going to try to not let the name of the Olympics get in the way of it and just do what we do each year.
