Matt Gothard is joined by Kevin Iole to preview the UFC bout between Jack Hermansson vs. Marvin Vettori on Sat. December 5 from the UFC APEX in Las Vegas.

MATT GOTHARD: Welcome back to Mad Bets, everybody. We have UFC Fight Night, Saturday, December 5, at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. I'm here with our favorite, Kevin Iole, to break down the middleweight battle between Jack Hermansson versus Kevin Holland. Hermansson's the favorite at minus 230. Holland, underdog, plus 185. Kevin, what's your best bet for this?
KEVIN IOLE: You know, I think this is an interesting fight, because you're taking a veteran, a guy who's been in there with everybody, a lot of really good opposition, against a guy who has just really, you know, caused a lot of waves in the UFC so far. He's been an exciting guy, came out the contender series, has had a couple of big wins, and is making a lot of noise in the division. I think this is a really interesting number on this fight, because I think it's about a 2-to-1 fight. And they have it just above that number, right? So I think they gave you a really good number here.
MATT GOTHARD: And I know that Hermansson's a little bit of a defensive fighter. So do you like this to go the distance?
KEVIN IOLE: Yeah, I look at this and I say, you know, Hermansson's not an easy guy to hit. You know, he doesn't give you a lot. So how does Kevin Holland react to that? Like, what does Holland have to do? I like Jack Hermansson to win this fight, by a decision. And I think it's going to be one of those fights where, you know, you're going to see Kevin Holland get frustrated as the fight goes on.
MATT GOTHARD: And for Holland to win, would that have to happen with a finish, do you believe?
KEVIN IOLE: I don't think it necessarily would be by finish. I think, you know, if he can open up early on in the fight. But I think he's going to have to create damage to sort of force Hermansson out of the shell that, you know, that he will be in. I think, you know, he's going to have to force Hermansson to kind of fight his fight. I don't know that he's experienced enough to be able to pull that off, so -- but if he hurts him early, creates some damage early, I think then it's an entirely different fight. And then I think maybe, you know, Holland could win a decision. But you know, if Holland is going to win, I think the most likely way is he'll catch him and finish him.
