MINTY BETS: This weekend, straight from Atlanta, Georgia, we've got the WBO Junior Lightweight Title bout between Shakur Stevenson minus 700 versus Jamel Herring plus 400. I'm Minty Bets here with Kevin Iole to give us his best bet of this match. Kevin, what do you think about this one?
KEVIN IOLE: Boy, this is a tough one to pick, Minty, because Jamel Herring is a really tough guy and he has surprised me again and again. Last time he fought against Carl Frampton, I picked Carl Frampton and Jamel Herring wins the fight. Shakur Stevenson to me is one of the rising stars in boxing, a 2016 Olympic silver medallist and has really blossomed as a professional.
This is going to be his biggest fight. I think Stevenson wins this fight, but you know, I think Herring is a live dog here and at that number, I think he's worth a play. You know I think the odds are likely that Stevenson will win and he's the superior talent, but I just have a feeling here that we're going to get a closer fight than we expect and Jamel Herring is no easy out. And given that number, I can't lay minus 700, so I'm going to go ahead and I'm going to take Jamel at the plus number, and I think that, that might get me a break here.
