MINTY BETS: On Sunday, June 20, we've got a big game 7 in the East and the start of the Western Conference Finals. First up, the Hawks are traveling to Philly to take on the Sixers. Philly is a 7-point favorite, and the total is set at 216.5. Atlanta is 4 and 7 against the spread their last 11 road games, while Philly is 6 and 3 against the spread their last 9 home games.
I admit that the 76ers are the better team as they have more talent spread out, but Doc Rivers tends to blow it in big playoff games. Embiid isn't that 100%, and they're inconsistent on offense. The Atlanta Hawks are a young confident team that has one in Philly twice this postseason already, and we're getting 7 points with them on the road. I'll take the road dog plus the points and watch for a possible outright upset.

Onto game 1 of the Western Conference Finals. The Phoenix Suns hosts the LA Clippers, and the Suns are a 5-point favored with a total set at 221.5. LA is 5-2-1 against the spread as underdogs, while Phoenix has covered in five straight games as favorites. The Clippers have the second best offensive rating in the playoffs, while the Suns counter with a second best defensive rating.
LA without Kawhi hurts them more than Phoenix without Paul. The Suns are more complete and well rested team and will be able to hold it down until Chris Paul comes back. I'll be watching for a blowout game in favor of the Phoenix Suns.
