Jared Quay previews the betting odds for the Western Conference Play-In games in the NBA Playoffs on Wednesday May 19.

Video Transcript

JARED QUAY: The Western Conference play-in games happen tonight. The first game on the slate-- the San Antonio Spurs versus the Memphis Grizzlies. The Spurs are 14, 18, and 1 as road dogs this year. And Memphis in their last seven have went under in six of those games.

Things I'm looking forward to in this game is the pace of this game. If the Spurs want to keep up, they got to score a lot of buckets, which may be likely over. But defense comes alive in the playoffs. So be cautious with that. Speaking of being cautious, please make sure you're taking advantage of our $600 risk-free bet at betmgm.com/yahoo.

And finally, the biggest game of the week-- the Los Angeles Lakers versus the Golden State Warriors. The Lakers are favorites by minus 5 and 1/2. And the over under's set to 219 and 1/2. Golden State is 8 and 1 in its last nine against the spread, and the Lakers are 7, 12, and 1 in their last 20 against the spread.

The thing I'm looking out for in this game is a guy named Steph Curry. He finished with the scoring title, and he's been on fire. Plus, I really don't think the Lakers defensive personnel can contain him. So if he gets hot, 5 and 1/2 just might be too much.

But again, this game could go either way, which is why I'm really taking advantage of that risk-free $600. Hey, you're sure I can get $600 if I lose it? I'm not going to lose my money?
