Betting: How many QBs will go in the 1st Rd of the NFL Draft?
Frank Schwab gives his three best prop bets for the 2021 NFL Draft.

- This is Yahoo Sports' senior writer Frank Schwab, and it's time to take a look at the NFL draft and my top three props over at BetMGM. First, I'm going to take over 5 and 1/2 quarterbacks in the first round. Look, it's almost like a free square bingo. We know the five are going, probably all in the top 10. Just needs to be a six. Get in late in the round.
I'm going with Davis Mills out of Stanford. He has the pro ready type of game that could intrigue a team like New Orleans late in the first round. Teams like drafting quarterbacks late in the first round, they get the fifth year option. And that's why I think a six quarterback is going to sneak into the first round and cash that ticket.
Up next, I'm taking a look at the running backs. Najee Harris is the favorite to go first, but I'm going in a different direction. I like Travis Etienne at plus 225 odds over at BetMGM. Just like last year when Clyde Edwards-Helaire, the second favorite, snuck into the end of the first round was a first running back taken. I think a team might prefer ETN skill set and take him as a first running back off the board.
And I also think it's worth a play on Jovanotti Williams a plus 450. He might be the first running back off the board too. There's an unpredictable prop, and so I'm taking an underdog here. From a third prop over at BetMGM, I'm going to go over 4 and 1/2 wide receivers in the first round. They're going to have to lay a little juice with this, it's minus 250.
But Yahoo Sports draft expert Eric Edholm believes as many as seven receivers can go in the first round. I think there's a big cushion there. Teams like receivers. They like those playmakers, especially late in the first round. I can easily see five, maybe more going in the first round. So even though you're laying a little bit more, I think this is going to be a prop the cachets.
