- TGIF. Thank God it's Friday, because we get to bet on some NBA action. There's two games on the slate that I love, and I'm trying to help you get paid. The first game is the Atlanta Hawks, minus 1 and 1/2 against the Sixers. Last time the two played, the Sixers won by 30 points, but they also shot 50% from the floor. They were at home, and that is not the case going into this game.

This team barely put up 90 points against the Celtics two nights ago, and they're going against one of the hottest teams in the NBA right now in the Hawks, who have won eight of their last nine games. And they're only cooking on offense at home. I think this will be the exact opposite of the first game. I think the Hawks should roll them here. So that's definitely good on my mind as 1 and 1/2.

Up next, I'm taking the Utah Jazz, minus 8 and 1/2 against the Celtics. That's a huge number, especially against a Celtics team that's pesky. But at the same time, this is a Celtics team without Jaylen Brown, getting on an airplane and traveling all the way to the West Coast to take on one of the best teams in the West in the Utah Jazz.

The Jazz score a ton of points. They've been averaging over 111 points on the season. And the Celtics are just struggling without Jaylen Brown. So I think that is a large number, but it's one that the Jazz should be able to handle. So to recap my Friday night picks, I like two home favorites in the Atlanta Hawks minus 1 and 1/2 and the Utah Jazz minus 8 and 1/2.
