MINTY BETS: Welcome to "The Mint", a sports betting show where we're not trying to make money, we're just trying to make sure you don't lose it all. I'm Minty Bets and today we need to talk about deception. The LA Rams.

- Go Rams.

MINTY BETS: Arguably one of the best teams in the NFC. They're plus 550 to win the conference and they have a deep roster ready for the Super Bowl.

- Not bad, not bad.

MINTY BETS: They've dropped three games straight, but they'll continue to be a betting favorite. But, did you know, they're only 4-7 against the spread this season?

- Gross.

- Yeah, yeah, that's gross.

MINTY BETS: The Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

- Tampa. Tampa.

MINTY BETS: Boasting an 8-3 record led by the GOAT. They're Super Bowl champs looking to repeat, but they're only 5-6 against the spread.

- No way, Jose.

- Yes way, Jose.

MINTY BETS: And don't even get me started on the Chiefs. They're 4-7 against the spread, despite their 7-4 straight up record.

- Truly awful news.

MINTY BETS: Lastly, the Detroit Lions. Win-less, hopeless, cold and miserable, just like every year.

- Oh, that's cold.

MINTY BETS: They're the longest shot to win the NFC at 5,000-1. Always the underdog, never the favorite.

- Really bad.

MINTY BETS: But I bet you would never guess they're 7-4 against the spread this season. If you bet on the Lions this season, your blood pressure and heart rate might have spiked during the games.

- Son of a--

MINTY BETS: But they're actually pretty profitable. Moral of the story is don't let straight-up records fool you into believing someone is a good team to bet on. I'm Minty Bets and this has been "The Mint."
