CHARLES ROBINSON: All right. Welcome to today's edition of "Best Bets" brought to you by "You pod to win the game," Yahoo Sports relaunched NFL podcast. I am Charles Robinson, national NFL writer for Yahoo Sports. I'm here with Frank Schwab, betting extraordinaire for Yahoo Sports.

We're going to talk about Denver Broncos training camp. Had a chance to visit with the Denver Broncos, got a chance to see them practice, walked away with an idea of what might be a pretty decent BetMGM best bet this week. I want to start Frank with Von Miller.

I don't know how much I'm buying it, but the Denver Broncos sure seem to feel like Von Miller's got a heck of a lot left in the tank. He's going to be in their minds one of these past four specialists who has a big flourish in his mid 30s. Knowing that, I will say this, Von Miller as a defensive player of the year candidate, the BetMGM odds on him are plus 4,000 and comeback player of the year, interestingly enough, the betting odds on Von Miller are plus 2000.

If you're going to double dip on a guy having a monster season and bouncing back, you might be able to win two bets and one with Von Miller on this one. Again, I'm not so sure I buy it, the Denver Broncos definitely do. And if I had a little money to throw out there on a guy, I'd take a flyer, I think Von Miller is my guy.

FRANK SCHWAB: Charles, I'm going to let you be on an Island there because I'm not buying it with Von and I'm not buying it with these Denver Broncos. Look, they opened at 7 and 1/2 wins, it moved up at 8 and 1/2 right around the Rogers rumors and it stayed at 8 and 1/2. And I just don't get why.

This team has really done nothing to improve itself. It has a terrible quarterback situation with Drew Lock and Teddy Bridgewater. It might be the fourth best team in its division, we know they're at best their third I think as long as the Chargers don't do Chargers things and maybe even the Raiders pass them.

So could be under 8 and 1/2 wins, I don't see how this Broncos team gets to 9. I don't really like what they're bringing at the quarterback position. I do like a lot of the other things, like the defense, like the offensive skill position. But when you're that bad a quarterback in that tough of a division, I just don't see how you can get over the hump and get to 9 wins. So I'm pretty confident I'll take the Broncos under wins and I just don't think they're in for a big season.

CHARLES ROBINSON: All right. Well, I appreciate that Frank seems to like to fade people and I seem to like to pump people up, that's how these usually work out

FRANK SCHWAB: Sounds right.

CHARLES ROBINSON: Those are-- Yeah, those are your best bets.
