Video: UFC 267 press conference faceoffs: Petr Yan tries to fake out Cory Sandhagen
UFC 267 fight week is in full swing following Thursday’s pre-fight press conference, where the top names on the card came face-to-face for the first time.
After answering media questions ahead of Saturday’s event at the Etihad Arena on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, the fighters from six notable main card matchups had staredowns.
That included champion Jan Blachowicz vs. Glover Teixeira, who clash for the UFC light heavyweight title in the headliner, and Petr Yan vs. Cory Sandhagen, which is set for the interim bantamweight belt in the co-main event,
Additional press conference faceoffs included Islam Makhachev vs. Dan Hooker, Alexander Volkov vs. Marcin Tybura, Khamzat Chimaev vs. Li Jingliang and Magomed Ankalaev vs. Volkan Oezdemir.
Although there was intensity in the air, the athletes all managed to stay professional and kept their hands to themselves while they posed for the cameras.
