Nate Diaz has been chirping back and forth at the UFC for months now. Well, really, for years.

It’s been more than a year since Diaz lost a decision to upcoming welterweight title challenger Leon Edwards. He’s been saying he’s asked for fights, and not gotten them. And recently, he’s been asking on social media for the UFC to get him a fight so he can finish out his contract.

Finally, the UFC obliged … and gave him Khamzat Chimaev, arguably one of the toughest opponents possible and the fighter many think ultimately will be a UFC champion.

The matchup has had its fair share of critics, and UFC president Dana White responded by saying those critics are crazy if they think this isn’t the kind of fight Diaz wanted.

But was it the right matchup to make for him on what most seen to presume will be his last fight in the UFC before moving on to somewhere else? That’s what we asked our “Spinning Back Clique” panel of Brian “Goze” Garcia, Mike Bohn and Nolan King, along with host “Gorgeous” George Garcia.

Check out their breakdown in the video above. And don’t miss this week’s full episode in the video below.
