Diaz will compete in his first non-UFC combat sports contest since October 2006 when he takes on YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul in an eight-round bout on Aug. 5 at American Airlines Center, and to kick off the promotion for the event, the pair attended an on-sale press conference in the same venue where they will fight.
