Vic Fangio to join Eagles as DC just one day after parting ways with Dolphins

Just one day after leaving the Miami Dolphins, Vic Fangio has found a new home.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Miami’s former defensive coordinator is traveling to Philadelphia to sign with the Eagles to take on the same role with his hometown team.

The Dolphins made Fangio the highest-paid defensive coordinator in the league last offseason, and while things might’ve looked great on the outside and on “Hard Knocks,” there were some aspects of the coaching change that didn’t work out so well.

Now, he heads back to the team that he was consulting for prior to their Super Bowl matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs while Miami looks to find his replacement.
