Note: In a game of evenly matched programs, the two powerhouses were tied for the most of the game. With 13:20 left in the second half left Essex held a 9-7 lead, but Burr and Burton powered back to knot at 11-11 with 7:10 remaining. Weber struck for the game-winning goal at the 3:12 mark and the Bulldogs iced it with 1:56 left.

Note: MA/V led 3-2 at the half. MA/V scored five unanswered goals before Fairfax scored with 4:27 in the third to stop the run. Fairfax scored first in the fourth to trail 9-4 then Shepard poured in back-to-back goals to make it 11-4. Ladeau finished the scoring with goals at 6:23 and 2:20. This is the second consecutive championship appearance for MA/V and it will feature a rematch of last year's championship with Montpelier.
